Built from the ground up to protect both finders and owners. We collect only what's needed — and encrypt everything else.
No ID Numbers Stored
We never ask for your ID number, passport number, or driving licence number. Instead, we take the fields you're comfortable sharing — full name and birth date — and cryptographically hash them into proof keys. These keys identify your documents without ever exposing the raw data.
Phone During Payment Only
Your phone number is only collected during payment processing via M-Pesa — and it doesn't need to be the document owner's number. Anyone can pay the claim fee on behalf of the owner. Your number is never displayed publicly and is encrypted at rest.
Collector Protection
Finders (collectors) are fully protected. Their personal information is encrypted before storage and never exposed to the document owner unless the collector chooses to share it via the anonymous chat.
Snappy 2FA for Collectors
Every report goes through two-factor authentication via phone + email — quick and seamless. This ensures only legitimate reports make it through, keeping bad actors out while making the process frictionless for honest finders.
Context, Not Photos
Instead of requiring a photo of your document as proof, the owner receives enough context to make a confident decision — where it was collected, the date reported, and the reporter's anonymous contact channel. You decide if it's yours, not a system.
End-to-End Encryption
All data in transit and at rest is encrypted. Chat messages between finders and owners are anonymized end-to-end. No third party can read your conversations, and no personal data is ever shared without your explicit action.
